From 01 July 2020, KNSW will be required by law to keep a record of spectators and participants attending KNSW Sanctioned Events. In order to assist us with the record keeping requirements, KNSW and its Clubs will be introducing the KNSW Covid-19 QR Code System.
KNSW Competition Director, Nick Becker said “It will allow for contactless ‘check-in’ using QR Codes at all KNSW Sanctioned Events”. The QR Code is a new version of the bar code. QR stands for ‘quick response’ and is faster and much more reliable than legacy bar codes.
KNSW looks forward to providing further information and FAQs on the KNSW Covid-19 QR Code System over the coming weeks prior to its implementation on 01 July 2020. #LetsRace2020
