Karting (NSW) Inc is proud to officially launch its support for the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, a global youth development program empowering young Australians aged 14-24 to explore their full potential.
We offer a range of diverse and enjoyable opportunities for Duke of Ed Participants across NSW to complete their Physical Recreation, Skills and Voluntary Service sections at all levels of the Award.
Our experienced and skilled members meet Working with Children Check requirements and are willing to be a Participant’s Duke of Ed Assessor.
Karting NSW Duke of Ed Example Activities:
Bronze
13 hours over 3 months*
Silver
26 hours over 6 months*
Gold
52 hours over 12 months*
* 1 hour per week, 2 hours per fortnight or 4 hours per 28 days.

Volunteering Services
Website maintenance; Social media maintenance; Canteen duty; Grounds maintenance and set-up; Video creation; Event commentary; Lap scorer; Noise control marshal; Pit marshal; Secretary of meetings; Stewards secretary; Timekeeper; Bar coding officials; Flag marshal; Fuel tester; Grid marshal; Race director; Scale marshal; Scrutineer; Steward; Technical inspector; and Tyre tester.
